A lifelong Missourian, Joe Genens joined the MedOpp Advising Office in May 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History (2013) from Saint Louis University and a Master of Arts in History (2015) from the University of Missouri. Joe’s experience as a graduate teaching assistant revealed his passion for teaching and mentoring students, which he is excited to use while working with pre-health students at MU. In his free time, he enjoys regaling his cats with the ambient sounds of his synthesizers.
