MU has pre-health advisors who assist students in preparing for professional healthcare programs. We will work with you to plan your academic coursework, discuss your health care experiences, and assist with the application process. There’s no “right” way to prepare for these programs; working with an advisor can help you to individualize the process.

Current students who are interested in medical, dental, optometric, podiatric, and physician assistant programs may schedule one-on-one appointments with their assigned MedOpp advisor. Schedule an appointment with your advisor through MU Connect using the links below.

MedOpp Library

We have an ever-growing library that includes many books about healthcare and the medical field, periodicals relevant to medicine, and MCAT prep materials. Books can be checked out for two weeks with the option to renew. Stop by the MedOpp Advising Office to see current availability!
