Darcy Holtgrave is the Program Manager of the MedOpp Advising Office, which provides supplemental advising and programming for MU students interested in careers in medicine. She completed her PhD in 2014 at the University of Missouri in English with a concentration in Folklore Studies, and her dissertation focused on health beliefs expressed online. She has taught for the Honors College a tutorial titled “Folk Medicine and Health Belief Systems in the United States.”
