Darcy Holtgrave is the Program Manager of the MedOpp Advising Office, which provides supplemental advising and programming for MU students interested in careers in medicine, dentistry, optometry, podiatry, and physician assistant. She completed her PhD at MU in English with a concentration in Folklore studies in Spring 2014, and one of her trademark courses is the Honors College tutorial “Folk Medicine and Health Belief Systems in the United States.”
