Committee Interview

What is a Committee Interview/Committee Letter?

MedOpp provides a service to qualifying medical and dental applicants called a Committee Letter. This is an overview and evaluation of your candidacy for medical or dental school that goes directly to the programs you are applying to. To write this letter, the MedOpp Advising Office teams with volunteer faculty and staff over the summer to bring students in for an interview that mirrors a professional program interview. We also review materials you provide us, including a CV, personal statement, letter of recommendation, transcripts, and test scores. Many medical and dental schools strongly encourage applicants to seek a committee letter if their school provides one.  In order to advance your eligibility for a Committee Interview through our office, you will need to participate fully in the Application Support Program.
